Stephen A. McCalmont

Mr. McCalmont is a leading executive
in the computing industry. With his previous two companies,
he raised more than $50 million in venture capital. He has
been through multiple successful IPO's and numerous leading
mergers and acquisitions. Prior to founding Avior, Mr. McCalmont
founded Altaworks Corporation and Net2Net Corporation. Altaworks
produced a leading system management application for IBM's
WebSphere, and BEA's WebLogic environments. This performance
management system was sold to multiple Fortune 500 companies.
Net2Net produced the leading network management system for
Asynchronous Transfer Mode networks. Customers included
AT&T, MCI, Sprint, HP and Network General. Net2Net successfully
merged with Visual Networks.
Prior to this, Mr. McCalmont founded
CrossComm's OEM group. During his tenure, key partnerships
were formed with organizations such as GDC, ODS, and Harris.
Mr. McCalmont held various sales, marketing and management
positions at Workstation Solutions and Telematics International.
He started his career in applied cryptography at Technical
Communications Corporation. He has published numerous articles
in the areas of performance and systems management as well
as business.
Mr. McCalmont is an avid pilot. He flys
an Extra 300L, which is a world-class aerobatic airplane.
He regularly competes and places in International Aerobatic
Club competitions. He is an FAA-certified flight instructor,
teaches aerobatics and emergency maneuver training, as well
as transition instruction for turbine aircraft. Additionally,
he sits on multiple corporate, philanthropic and college trustee
boards.
Michael
B. Courtemanche
Vice President & CTO

Mr. Courtemanche is responsible for
architecting and executing the corporate vision. His background
is uniquely suited for this task, with more than 18 years
in the software industry, all focused on distributed computing.
Previous to founding Avior, Mr. Courtemanche was responsible for architecting
Altaworks' revolutionary system management platform that
operated heterogeneously in the J2EE and Microsoft environments.
Mr. Courtemanche has held senior
technical positions at Net2Net Corporation, Workstation
Solutions, and Wang Laboratories. His disciplines within
the distributed computing environments range from Web
Services, directory services, and relational database
engines. Mr. Courtemanche holds multiple patents in the
fields of distributed computing and performance management.
Mr. Courtemanche is an avid pilot
and regularly flies throughout the east. He is a
devoted hiker and often can be found in the backcountry
of the White Mountains of New Hampshire.
Bruce A. Beck
Vice President, Sales and Business Development

Mr.
Beck has over 30 years of successful sales, business development and sales management experience in the technology industry, primarily focused on early stage companies. Mr. Beck significantly contributed to the successful IPOs of three companies where he was an executive.
Mr. Beck has had successful operating experience, at senior levels of sales, marketing and general management at Wang Laboratories, ColorKinetics (CLRK), Telematics International (TMAX) - later sold to ECI Telecom, Bolt Beranek and Neuman - later sold to GTE, and Mercury Computer Systems (MRCY). Mr. Beck started the storage area networking software group, as the VP/GM. The company was sold to IBM Tivoli for three times Mercury’s invested capital in three years.
Over a three year period as a Regional Sales Director at Wang, Mr. Beck was able to triple the size of his region to over $40M in revenue. In another assignment Mr. Beck originated the reseller product distribution model in North America that later produced $280M in annual revenues for the company. Ultimately, Mr. Beck successfully managed a corporate headquarter-based organization of over 1,800 people.
Most recently Mr. Beck was the VP of Sales and Business Development at Net to Net Technologies, now part of Zhone Corporation. Net to Net Technologies was an Ethernet switch manufacturer for Carrier based DSL deployment. Mr. Beck doubled the Americas’ revenues in three years in the midst of the Telecom meltdown.
Mr. Beck earned a BS in Business Administration and a minor in Computer Science from the University of Illinois and a Masters in Finance from Boston College. He is an avid competitive golfer. Mr. Beck and his wife reside in North Hampton, New Hampshire.
